Posh Picnic is an annual fundraising event organized by the Coxhall Guild at Cripe Pavilion at Coxhall Gardens. Guests are invited to bring their favorite people, culinary delights, and table settings to create a night of magic in Carmel's most beautiful picnic spot!
The evening features a tablescape challenge, with prizes awarded for "Most Posh", "Most Creative", "Most Coxhall-Like", and "People's Choice". Guests provide their own refreshments and tableware for a highly personalized, stylish experience.
Dancing under the stars follows for an unforgettable evening!

What is provided?
Tables, chairs, and linens (white, floor-length) are provided
Is any food or drink provided?
As we want everyone to enjoy their favorites, we are asking all guests to
pack a delicious picnic
Where should I park?
Ample parking is available in the lots near the Coxhall Mansion. Carts and assistance will be provided to move your picnic items and tableware to the event area.
Who is providing the music?
We are fortunate to have a professional DJ spinning a variety of tunes throughout the night for dining and dancing.
What if it rains?
We will picnic rain or shine! The picnic will take place in the tented Cripe Pavilion at the southeast corner of the property
How early can I arrive to set up my table?
Early setup is available from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Where do the event proceeds go?
Event proceeds support projects that enrich, improve, and maintain Coxhall Mansion and Gardens, like the recently installed Children's Pavilion and statuary.
Is my reservation price tax-deductible?
Yes! Because guests provide their own food and beverage, the ticket price is 100% tax-deductible.
What if I don't have a full table?
We hope adult singles, doubles and groups will attend. We will seat you with old and/or new friends if you have not reserved a full table of 10 guests. You will be provided with your tablemates' contact information prior to the picnic so you can communicate regarding table décor and picnic fare
